Dream Management Program

We believe God has a special plan for your life. Our 4-year guidance program helps students discover their strengths, explore their passions, and prepare for life beyond high school—whether in college, a career, or another calling.

Center for Student Success

Academic support is key to student success. Our library, open 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, provides a computer lab, tutoring, and study space, as well as puzzles and chess for mental engagement. Whether you need help with an assignment or a quiet place to study, this is your go-to resource.

Discovering Your Path

We guide students through self-discovery and career exploration using professional assessments and hands-on experiences:

  • MBTI (Sophomore Year) – The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator helps students understand how their personality influences learning, decision-making, and stress management. This insight can shape class choices, career exploration, and personal development.
  • Strong Interest Inventory (Senior Year) – This assessment highlights careers and college programs that align with a student’s interests, offering clarity as they make major life decisions.
  • Certified Guidance – Our trained MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory practitioners work closely with students, helping them interpret results and connect them to real-world opportunities.

College Visits and Career Shadowing

During their senior year, students visit Adventist universities like Andrews University and Southern Adventist University, experiencing college life firsthand. Additionally, career shadowing opportunities allow students to spend time with professionals in their fields of interest, providing valuable real-world exposure and mentorship.

Career Day & College Fair

Each year, SVA hosts a Career Day and College Fair, where students can meet professionals from a variety of fields and connect with university representatives. This event provides a valuable opportunity to ask questions, explore different career paths, and build relationships that can help shape their future. Parents are encouraged to attend and support their student’s journey. Stay tuned for event details!
