Welcome to the Campus Ministries department of Shenandoah Valley Academy, where faith and fellowship come together to nurture the spiritual growth of our students. We offer a variety of programs and activities designed to support and inspire our community in their walk with Christ.
Our Mission
The mission of Shenandoah Valley Academy Campus Ministries is to create meaningful opportunities for students to experience Christ's love, nurture their personal spiritual growth, and actively live out their faith through service to the church and community.
Programs and Activities
Senior Survival: An immersive experience designed for seniors (grade 12) to build resilience and faith through outdoor challenges and teamwork.
30-Hour Famine: A hands-on event to raise awareness about global hunger and encourage empathy and action. More information about the 30-Hour Famine can be found on World Vision’s website.
Mission Trips: Opportunities for students to serve and make a difference in communities around the world.
Community Service Day: A dedicated day for giving back to our local community through various service projects.
Church Connect: A monthly program where students engage with different church communities. Activities include visiting nursing homes, FLAG camp, and produce giveaways for the community.
Other Outreach Opportunities: Various programs aimed at helping students engage in meaningful service throughout the year.
Regular Events
FUEL (Midweek Prayer Meeting): A Wednesday night spiritual recharge with prayer, worship, and fellowship.
Vespers: Join us every Friday night for worship and reflection as we welcome the Sabbath.
Sabbath School and Church: Engaging Bible study and worship services every weekend.
Baptismal Studies: Personalized or group studies for those interested in being baptized and deepening their faith.
